Fond Doux Foundation works in the Fond Doux area of Haiti to transform the lives of those in need through support for: Improving access to health care nutrition and Education. Education is enahced through the support of local schools and providing scholarships for students to continue with higher educational opportunities. FDF also creates and provides English as a Second Langauge ESL classes for the community. FDF operates a community health clinic bringing much needed access to public health care this includes basic helath care and educational classes directed to improve basic health care awareness. FDF also works with the community in providing animal husbandry care and teaching the proper care to sustain their livestock in addition to providing education on agriculture gardening best practices. FDF also assists with the construction and repair of basic housing. FDF wishes to provide the tools and education for the community to become self sustaining.

“Part I, Line 10 Program and services provided in haiti. Fund the Platon School, which is a remote school only accessible by boat. This school has 4 teachers and provides school for K-6 students. Without this funding, there would be no school available for the children of this remote village. Medical Clinic has been established for the village of Fond Doux. This clinic provides health care that would otherwise not be available to the village of Fond Doux, without traveling and expensed for transportation. Access to Education, FDF provides scholarships to students persuing Higher Education, as well as students who are unable to continue their primary education without finanical assistance to pay tution. Nutrional Support, FDF provides for emergency food distribution to those that are in desperate need of food. Housing construction, as funds become available, housing is constructed for those that are in desperate need of adequate shelter. Grants are made for those that qualify through an application process for small business startups. Community Center and school expansion; plans are underway to build a community center that will allow for more classroom space, a library and general community meeting space. Part 1. Line 16 Other epenses are listed as bank fees, money transfer fees, accouting/donor tracking software license subscription, office supplies and reimbursements to the in country Executive Director for travell expenses. This school has 4 teachers and provides school for K-6 students. Without this funding, there would be no school available for the children of this remote village. Medical Clinic has been established for the village of Fond Doux. This clinic provides health care that would otherwise not be available to the village of Fond Doux, without traveling and expensed for transportation. Access to Education, FDF provides scholarships to students persuing Higher Education, as well as students who are unable to continue their primary education without finanical assistance to pay tution. Nutrional Support, FDF provides for emergency food distribution to those that are in desperate need of food. Housing construction, as funds become available, housing is constructed for those that are in desperate need of adequate shelter. Grants are made for those that qualify through an application process for small business startups. Community Center and school expansion; plans are underway to build a community center that will allow for more classroom space, a library and general community meeting space. Part 1.
