“The sars-cov-2 pandemic forced the closure of all services at our senior center host sites. The loss of the organization's main revenue stream led to the layoff of the executive director and the discontinuation of all services. The incredible contributions of our small pool of monthly donors and other individual donations throughout the year allowed us to cover our ongoing expenses. Also, many of our cloud-based service vendors paused our monthly fees for much of the year. The organization also received several grants earmarked for the completion of our paperless intake and cloud-based patient management application. Our contractors were able to continue their work remotely, so the project was able to be completed during the closure. The system went live in december 2020.”
