Mission

The mission of Baxter Hall Properties is to give guidance and support to the Zeta Chi chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha in the for of maintaining their chapter house. We serve as a third party intermediary by entering into rental contracts with companies leasing fraternity houses while also entering into a rental contract with the Zeta Chi Chapter. We have income consisting of rental revenue from the chapter and donations to go toward house maintenance, and we have expenses including rent expense payable to the rental company that owns the Zeta Chi Chapter's current fraternity house, insurance expense, and any ongoing maintenance and upkeep expenses for the house.

ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt0It is currently November 15th, 2015, but In case this E-Filing does come through as late, this would be why: I was recently elected to the position as treasurer of this organization on October 15th, 2016 with no former affiliation or work done with or for the organization, and therefore had no knowledge of the financial workings of the organization during its 2015 fiscal year. The prior treasurer was not of a financial background and had all financial records in written binders which had to be transferred to me, and he did not have access to the online records and bank accounts. Therefore, I had to familiarize myself with the different accounts associated with the organization and validate the sources of income and outlets for expenses in the past month during my spare time, as I am a full time graduate student and also working.
