“Borehole drilling is a permanent solution to a problem that is costing people their lives. Each borehole provides clean water to approximately 250 people daily for up to 30 years. Education is an essential part to dazzle africa's mission in supporting the youth of zambia. In 2017, dazzle africa and its educational donors sponsored 5 children to attend middle school and 9 young adults to attend college and university, with studies ranging from veterinary medicine, nursing, clinical medicine, advanced law, and public health. Our students continuously express their gratitude towards their sponsors and dazzle africa. Our primary focus for conservation is supporting anti-poaching and scientific research of african wildlife in the south luangwa valley. Through the partnership of conservation south luangwa and zambian carnivore program, we fund the only full-time wildlife veterinarian in the valley. Dr. Mwambe sichande accounts for the survival of hundreds of animals by de-snaring african wildlife, such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and others, providing services to local domestic animals, such as rabies vaccinations and spaying and neutering, treating the detection dog unit and collaring wildlife for monitoring and research. Another dazzle africa project supporting wildlife conservation is co- funding the only anti-poaching airplane in the south luangwa. In 2017, dazzle africa was the single largest donor of the cessna 180 airplane which is an integral part of our efforts in protecting vulnerable wildlife. Without this cessna 180, we would be at risk of losing key species of african wildlife. To date, the biggest threat to wildlife in the south luangwa valley, zambia, is poaching. Not only are elephants targeted by poachers for their ivory, but other antelope are targeted for bushmeat and most often than not, species such as lions and african wild dogs are unintended victims of poaching because of indiscriminate wire snaring. With the south luangwa being of similar size to yellowstone national park, the monitoring and protecting the area by foot and vehicle is impossible.”

By travelling to zambia and seeing both the beauty and the brutal challenges faced by the community and wildlife, it creates a connection that would otherwise not be possible. Our safaris are provided at cost to travelers with a required donation to our zambian programs. 100% of safari donations are directed to our zambian projects that guests view during their safari.”
