“The battery innovation center inc is currently in the process of adopting the conflict of interest policy found within the eda grant lead agency agreement, but have been adhering to it internally since inception. The conflict of interest policy found within the eda grant lead agency agreement states that the eda award recipients shall establish and maintain safeguards and policies which prohibit any individuals from participating in any way in the scope of work defined in energy storage proof of concept process instruction from using their position or relationship with the recipient for any purpose that consitutes a personal or organizational conflict of interest or the appearance thereof with respect to this award. For this purpose, an interested party includes the interested party's immediate family.”
