Cmi received volunteer services from approximately 20-30 people during 2014-15. We are not a volunteer-heavy operation in that our key staff has to be paid and needs to have specific expertise in a variety of areas that are not conducive to volunteers.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4A

-successful second season of adaptive hockey/skating program for children with disabilities. Moose hockey players volunteer every sunday to get kids on the ice and skating in spite of their challenges served over 700 youth participants in hockey, skating, or school programs, and over 350 adult program participants.

Completed a major renovation of the entire ice floor chiller system from june-august. The old system was beyond its useful life and in serious need of replacement to prevent catastrophic failure (loss of ice in the middle of the season). This was a joint project between cmi, the town of jackson, energy conservation works, and teton county. The new system promises energy efficiency savings of 35-40% during the ice season, and the elimination of maintenance needs that were running from 35k-50k annually the last several years.
