“Form 990 is prepared by the secretary/cfo with the guidance and review of an accountant familiar with 501(c)(3)organization filing requirements in general and this organization in particular. After further review by the president and, as needed, an attorney who serves as a voluntary advisor to the board, advance copies are supplied to the board financial review committee when the form is submitted, copies also being supplied to the full board and to an independent non-profit organization for posting to their public-access website.”

“From its inception the organization adopted a written conflict of interest policy that complies with the guidance established by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). Directors and officers are required to sign a statement affirming their understanding and agreement to comply fully with the policy in the discharge of their individual and joint responsibilities, with such statement being reviewed annually in conjunction with the stated annual meeting of the board. Under the policy the board is required to take cognizance of any potential conflict of interest as defined by the policy and take positive action to determine if such a conflict might occur and how it can be resolved in compliance with the policy, all such actions to be noted in appropriate board meeting minutes.”

“OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: US staff couple seconded to serve directly under the leadership, direction and guidance of an established national partner: The Bonus Pastor Foundation ministry in Transylvania, Romania to those seeking recovery from addictions. Responsibilities include development and coordination of the international short-term, volunteer work team program supporting the ministry of the long-term therapy center in the village of Ozd; improving and managing the foundation property; assisting the therapy center staff as an adjunct member by developing and overseeing the life and work skills component of the residential program; providing assistance to the conferences, meetings, training sessions and youth/children's camps associated with the ministry; assisting the overall development of the ministry as a member of the four-person leadership and management team; directing the staff and volunteer team in communications development, including public relations and fund raising activities. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Combined Ministries in the Czech Republic under the coordination leadership of the president: Existing partnerships were established/strengthened in the areas of youth and church-planting ministries; translating and publishing projects; continued development of an Internet website for leaders of youth ministries; Internet-based evangelism and outreach; general engagement and assistance with church and ministry leaders. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: Moldova -- Harvest Foundation: Partnership with a long-established ministry in southern Moldova region called Gagauzia, a semi-autonomous republic, where people are of Turkish background and also speak the Turkish language. In close cooperation with local churches, three areas of ministry are targeted: 1. A Christian after-school program which attracts many unchurched students and effectively reaches out into the community; 2. Children and youth camps with many hundreds of kids each summer (typically about 40% of the kids come from unchurched backgrounds and many come to a personal faith in Christ); 3. An Ambassadors Together program, where teams of mostly students are trained and sent out for international outreach in neighboring countries. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: Romania -- Bonus Pastor (Good Shepherd) Foundation: Outreach and recovery ministry to those suffering addictions, serving primarily the minority Hungarian population in Transylvania -- also engaged with ministry to Roma (gypsies) and ethnic Romanians -- with a vision for equipping churches to be directly involved in the ministry. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: Jesus.net: Based in Holland with significant equipping ministry for Internet-based evangelism world-wide, providing support to national ministries with whom 4D is associated in Eastern Europe. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 9: Czech Republic -- Majak (Lighthouse): Established ministry serving primarily in the eastern part of the country in church-planting and training pastors and lay-leaders. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 10: Serbia-Nexus: Established ministry based in Novi Sad in the northern part of the country engaged in church-planting, training of lay-leadership and discipleship training, plus an associated pregnancy center ministry called Choose Life. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 11: US-based program services support of national ministry partners in Eastern Europe, including donor communications, assistance with US travel itinerary planning to visit supporting churches, provision of donor support information and reports, donation processing, etc. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 12: Czech Republic -- Church Revitalization: A ministry associated with the largest Evangelical denomination in the country (Cirkev Bratrska -- Brethren), assisting local congregations and church leaders seeking to become missional in their vision and ministry directions and practice. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 13: Czech Republic -- Independent Ministry: Volunteer English Language Instruction and direct engagem”
