ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt0Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the main officers were incapacitated and isolated from all meetings. The financial treasurer was hospitalized for an extended period and there was no access to files. It was difficult to reach a live person to ask questions and seek guidance for IRS purposes. It took an extremely long time to get back to normal activities and filing various documents. We are a very small nonprofit and any penalties given would take resources away for the homeless population that we serve. We are now in a better position for record keeping and will be up to date with all tax filings by May 1, 2023
