“Opulent philanthropy was founded in 2011 and through 2019 it filed a 990-n as total receipt were under 50,000 each year. For 2020 a 990 was required as total receipts were over 400,000. On page 1 of the 2020 form 990, we have not included any amounts for receipts and expenses since only a 990-n was filed for that period. Additionally, schedule a does not contain any receipts for 2016 through 2018 because there were none received by the organization.”
“B. Food banks - op provided assistance totaling nearly 13,000 to 21 local food banks across the united states. These food banks assisted homeless civilians and veterans with resources for food, clothing, and water. C. Other assistance - other aid includes helping farmers when swarms of locusts infected their crops. Op provided 2,557 to one tree planted; this aid enabled the planting of nearly 8,000 trees. During 2020 op also provided a total of 2,600 in assistance to fight fires raging through oregon. Direct assistance was provided to individuals and organizations working directly with victims. Assisted homeless civilians and veterans with resources for food, clothing, and water. C. Provided resources for cancer patients to cover the cost of treatments. D. Awarded grants to underprivileged students to assist with the cost of education. E. Planted trees after wildfires destroyed forests. F. Helped victims of violent crimes with financial assistance for medical bills, funerals etc. G. Provided covid-19 ppe supplies during the pandemic to patients and hospitals around the world. Provided shelter, food, and water to help over homeless people and displaced victims during natural disasters: a. Homeless veterans and homeless men women and children in largely populated areas, including houston, los angeles, new york, washington, district of columbia, san francisco, phoenix, boston, las vegas etc. B. Displaced families during the following natural disasters: california wildfires, oregon's wildfires, washington wildfires, denver colorado wildfires, australia brush wildfires. Samalia floods, hurricane dorian (bahamas), cyclone amphan (india and bangladesh), hurricane dorian, hurricane hanna (corpus christi- rio grande vally and hildalgo texas), hurricane laura (louisiana), hurricane sally (alabama), hurricane delta (lake charles to lafayette, louisiana), tennessee tornadoes, iowa's derecho wind storm, pakistan monsoon, pakistan's avalanches and floods, typhoon vamco, hurricane iota (nicaragua and central america), sudan flood, taal volcano, (manila, philippines) puerto rico earthquake. Planted trees around the world to help our ecosystem: california, australia, brazil amazon rain forest, oregon, indonesia rain forest. Provided covid-19 relief supplies for doctors, nurses, and individuals worldwide: ppe supplies in spain, italy, and houston tx; quarantine food boxes in houston tx. Awarded grants to underprivileged children: united states. Supported victims of violence in: minnesota, wisconsin, kentucky, eu, london, japan, s. Korea, lebanon, canada, new zealand, texas.
