We prioritize the issues impacting our latino community and proactively come up with solutions that promote the culture, education, social and economic well-being of our latino community. 2015”

“Through its programs cea provides timely information to its members on economic, arts & culture and education issues enabling members to make better informed decisions in the community and organizations. Through the young achievers forum we provide mentoring opportunities to over 1,000 students in the el paso area. We encourage advanced degrees to these students and parents. Through our stem initiatives we lead a group of volunteers in offering "are you smarter than a 5th grader" curriculum to area schools impacting over 5,000 students, teachers and parents annually. We highlighted the contributions of latino artists at the smithsonian american art museum in washington, dc by hosting an event with elizabeth daoust, senior development officer. This provided a kick off to a traveling exhibit entitled, "our america: the latino presence in american art", which included artists from el paso, texas.”
