“Feeding the spirit is a non-profit group dedicated to nourishing the bodies, minds, and souls of those folks in need in our greensburg area. Our mission is two-fold: to provide a weekly gathering for those in need where they receive a hot meal in a community of fellowship and caring, and to provide emergency temporary housing for the homeless and rent assistance for those at risk of becoming homeless. Our service is supported by sponsors, donors, and volunteers who are drawn to this mission. We are united by genuine commpassion and a strong desire to give back to the community.”

Weekly participant count for meal varies between 100 and 130. During 2015, 150 homeless individuals were placed and 112 families were assisted with rent. All services are provided by volunteers.”
