We analyze the relationship characteristics to see if there will be any conflicts of interest, and we terminate the talks if anyone has reservations regarding the potential relationship.

The Board analyzed salary data comparable to the industry standard, the Executive Director's experience, responsibilities, and time required. With that, they decided on compensation. Joe Hale, the Executive Director, was never a part of any salary discussion. The organization contemporaneously documents and recordkeeps for deliberations and decisions regarding the compensation arrangement.
