Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Spring empowers youth to discover and unleash their potential through a holistically personal and educational approach by promoting emotional well-being, academic growth and excellence, community engagement and global exposure, social connectedness, physical health and creative expression. Spring functions as a daily after-school program that provides academic instruction, enrichment and support in a framework of stable and trusting relationships with peers and adults. Spring creates opportunities for its students to identify positive, possible future selves by building the academic skills and confidence necessary and encouraging its students to engage with others and themselves in a kind and proactive way. Spring believes that by exposing its students to new places, individuals, ideas and approaches the kids will be empowered to dream big. Spring students overcome obstacles in a supportive environment as they develop goals and a vision for their lives.
