“Dance to unite, inc. Is organized exclusively for charitable, cultural and educational purposes in the field of dance and the performing arts in various styles and from all world cultures. The organization offers free dance classes and professional performance opportunities to inner city youth to promote acceptance, positivity, empowerment, and to impart a sense of unity and peace.”

“The organization provides free after school weekly dance classes with an educational component that celebrates cultural diversity. The classes are complemented periodically with special guest artists who volunteer their time to conduct workshops that complement and enhance our mission of unity and peace and assist with year-end student performances. The organization partnered with eleven schools and taught an estimated 403 students ranging from 2nd to 8th grades. All classes were taught by dedicated volunteers in the area of dance and the performing arts. During 2015 the organization performed four guest artist workshops covering the field of musical theatre and dance including ballet, modern and indian dance. Volunteers included teachers, assistant teachers, design specialist and guest artists, videographers and photographers.”
