“The tax return is prepared by the CPA firm that performed the financial review of the organizations books and records. A draft of the return is reviewed by the Executive Director and financial managment personnel. Once all questions are resolved, the tax return is provided to the board members for their review-approval prior to filing.”

Both locations support programming, exhibits, research opportunities, and events. During this fiscal year, the Museum spent considerable time and resources renovating an entire wing at its Frederick Avenue location which was necessitated by a burst pipe that damaged many exhibits. The St. Joseph Museum partners with Mount Mora Cemetery Association annually for Voices of the Past Cemetery Tours, Missouri Western State University for Super Science Saturday, and other local museums for Smithsonian Free Museum Day. |
