Mission and Program Overview

Mission

To educate the general public as to the role of the federal courts and their impact on American society, including the purpose, structure and history of the federal court system. The Judicial Learning Center is an educational center dedicated to promoting public understanding of the importance of an independent judiciary and the rule of law in American society. Visitors learn about the levels of the Federal Court, the rule of law and the court system. The exhibits are interactive and allow visitors to act as jurors or preside as a judge.
