Mission

Community Development to assist underserved by cultivating innovation and brilliance to produce socioeconomic change agents for the future.

Refuge and Restoration's non profit organization exist to extend compassion and resources to communities that are underserved or altogether abandoned. Refuge and Restoration is an organization committed to transforming lives and strengthening the communities in which we live and do business. We provide charitable services to a diverse group of recipients through collaborative partnerships.

Program Services

BIMR Marriage Resource - Served over 250 families with counsel and resources to build stable effective households. Our Marriage programming focuses on reconciliation and reestablishing family. Jobs for Life - Served 60+ families with resources via the JFL curriculum which teaches soft skills, character development, as well as technical skills. This service effects employment to impact the effect of joblessness through the dignity of work by mobilizing a collaborative network of volunteers from all walks of life i.e, corporate, teachers, and committed persons to applying training and mentoring relationships. We use our Jobs for Life programming to help those in need find dignity and purpose through meaningful work. 90% of JFL classes students graduated and 85% obtained employment post exit of the classes. Misc Service - School Supplies, utility help, training materials, college book stipend student help$0$0

ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt0Currently, Refuge and Restoration's entire organization is being restructured to bring about a more beneficial working establishment. The deployment of resources inclusive of human capital is presently minimal, which often leaves us at a deficit for time to complete these important duties. Staffing is non existent and is on a volunteer basis only, which means time is split between serving our community population and the organizational duties. However,even with all of this, we are assured that our newly formed relationships and consulting of outside organizations and individuals to help us reestablish our base for growth will garner more productive conditions, both economically and capacity wise.
