Form 990, Part III, Line 2

The emergency department enhancement program was established to improve referrals and care coordination for consumers between local hospitals, community mental health providers and substance use treatment providers. This is a project coordinated by a related organization, behavioral health network of greater st louis. The community mental health liason initiative was established to form better community partnerships with crisis systems, law enforcement agencies, and the courts in order to save valuable state and local resources taht might otherwise be expended on unnecessary jail, prison, and hospital stays and to improve outcomes for individuals with behavioral health disorders who come into contact with the legal system.

Behavioral health response, inc has an audit committee that assumes responsibility for oversight of the audit of its financial statements and selection of an independent accountant. The audit committee participated in the planning of the audit, were updated throughout the audit and participated in a meeting with the auditors at the completion of the audit. This process has not changed since the prior year.

PART V, LINE 4:

The intended use of the temporarily restricted endowment funds is for the basic support of general facility expenditures and general program usages. These resources are subject to donor-imposed restrictions that will be satisfied by actions of the organization or the passage of time.

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization follows fasb asc 740-10, accounting for uncertainty in income taxes, which prescribes a comprehensive model for how an organization should measure, recognize, present, and disclose in its financial statements uncertain tax positions that an organization has taken or expects to take on a tax return. Management annually reviews its tax positions and has determined that there are no material uncertain tax positions that require recognition in the financial statements as of june 30, 2014.
