Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Part iv, line 2b - escrow liability arrangement explanation. The council accepts and remits contributions to two pac's. Part x - fin 48 footnote the organization has adopted accounting standards codification 740-10, income taxes, as it relates to uncertain tax positions for the year ended december 31, 2017 and all open tax years. Any interest and penalties associated with a tax position would be classified as current in the financial statements. Based on the evaluation of the organization's tax position for the open tax years 2014, 2015 and 2016, management believes all positions taken would be upheld under an examination. Therefore, no provision for the effects of uncertain tax positions has been recorded for the years ended december 31, 2017 and 2016.
