Cardinal ritter senior services (crss) provides services to improve the quality of life for senior adults by promoting and providing social, health, and housing programs and services in st. Louis city and county, as well as in st. Charles, jefferson, franklin and warren counties. Inspired by the teachings of jesus christ, the mission of crss is to be a recognized provider of first choice in healthcare and supportive social services for senior adults throughout the archdiocese of st. Louis.
Work to improve the quality of life of the elderly within the community of st. Louis by promoting and providing social, health, and housing services.

“Cardinal ritter senior services (crss) pays vendors through the management agent's disbursement system for the following entities: cardinal ritter institute - residential services corporation (cri-rsc), cardinal carberry senior living center, mary queen and mother association, mother of perpetual help residence, inc., our lady of life apartments, st. Agnes apartments, inc., st. John neumann apartments, inc., st. Patrick apartments, inc., st. Patrick apartments ii, inc., holy angels apartments, inc., holy angels apartments ii, inc., pope john paul ii apartments, inc., st. Clare of assisi senior village, inc., st. William apartments, inc., and st. William apartments ii, inc. This procedure was implemented for the purpose of utilizing the most cost effective method to conserve processing costs and to provide internal controls to safeguard assets. Crss pays all expenses, salaries, and fringe benefits, including payroll, for the hud apartments along with cri-rsc. Crss issues the w-2's for salaries and payroll tax returns for these entities as well. These entities reimburse crss on a regular basis for these expenditures. Also, crss pays bookkeeping fees to the archdiocese of st. Louis. Additionally a management fee is paid to st. Louis archdiocese fund (slaf) for the management of the organization's investments. The chief executive officer of cardinal ritters senior services is an employee of catholic charities of st louis. The salary and related taxes and benefits are reimbursed by cardinal ritter senior services.”
