“Each year all directors, whether current or in nomination, are required to review, sign and return to the Executive Director a completed questionnaire. The Executive Director then reviews and makes available to the President all completed forms and a report is submitted to the Board at its next meeting.”

“The Executive Committee, comprised of the officers, is responsible for the review and approval of the consulting agreement entered into with the Executive Director and the association management agreement entered into with The Beaumont Group, Inc, who serve as Executive Administrators.”

“OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM SERVICE: Reinsurance & insurance related entities operate in a constantly changing & competitive environment. The IRUA has offered educational programs for over 50 years to assist member company personnel to become better informed, educated and trained. They are a combination of an industry-wide Annual Conference described on Line 4a, and specific technical programs being described here. In addition to known risks, sessions are offered to identify and elaborate on emerging & potential technical and market risks that members face and will face in the future. Expenses are kept low by the generous support of a combination of member companies and law firms donating the use of their facilities. All IRUA events are open to members and non-members alike with non-members paying a higher registration fee. During and since the pandemic all events transitioned to being virtual only.For several years a further education program called The Reinsurance Networking Group held occasional lunchtime meetings. Since the pandemic, this too has transitioned to a virtual format. Income received relates to the education program service.”
