Management has evaluated their material tax positions, which include such matters as the tax exempt status and various positions relative to potential sources of ubi. As of august 31, 2017 and 2016, there were no uncertain tax benefits identified and recorded as a liability and any amounts owed related to ubi are immaterial to the financial statements as a whole. Forms 990 and 990-t filed by act are subject to examination by the irs up to three years from the extended due date of each return. Forms 990 and 990-t filed by act are no longer subject to examination for the years ended august 31, 2013 and prior.”
