“The organization is a non-profit labor union and is comprised of members belonging to this labor union. Members are comprised of cardiac and diagnostic sonographers, nuclear medicine technologists, cardiovascular technologists, radiographic technologists, medical laboratory technicians, respiratory therapists, polysmnographers, licensed practical nurses, dietary technicians, neurodiagnostic technologists, occupational therapy assistants, physical therapy assistants and surgical technologists.”

“A nominating committee is appointed by the executive committee prior to the annual members meeting. The nominating committee will propose a slate to the executive committee of the persons to be nominated as officers of the association at the annual members meeting. The list of the nominees and the offices they are being nominated for are then mailed to the members which is included in the notice of the annual members meeting. Nominations from the floor are also taken at the annual members meeting. The officers of association of diagnostic imaging technologists will be elected by the members at the annual members meeting.”

“The board of directors comprised of member representatives and the executive committee meet bi-annually. The board of directors certifies the elections of officers that were held at the annual members meeting. The board of directors is also responsible for determining salaries of the executive committee, establishing and maintaining procedures for disciplinary action to be taken against any member. The board of directors will be accountable to the members. Amendments to the constitution and by-laws must be approved by a vote of the members. Employment agreements are voted upon by those members employed at the contract site.”
