Activity 2

Character & leadership development the travis manion foundation (tmf) is creating and inspiring the next generation of future leaders through our character does matter (cdm) program. Lead by our contingent of ambassadors, character does matter empowers veterans and families of the fallen to deliver dynamic, inspiring presentations to emerging leaders across the united states. The program engages the next generation of leaders to serve, directly impacting their local communities while carrying on the legacies of our nation's fallen heroes. Each year, young people transform into leaders as they build character by committing to serve through our "if not me, then who" challenge. Since inception, cdm has reached more than 35,000 students.

Activity 3

Charitable investment and community activation the travis manion foundation is committed to collaborating with local community organizations so that we are able to extend our impact where it is needed most - locally. We activate people through a myriad of service- based and athletic events and then invest in and partner with local community organizations who share our vision and goals. The events serve as a catalyst for connecting our military community with everyday americans by enabling families, friends and others to honor fallen heroes and support local organizations working to empower returning veterans. Tmf now organizes 50+ events across the country and partners with 47 local organizations. Over the last two years, tmf has rallied more than 50,000 people to honor and support local heroes in communities across the country. By supporting these community organizations, tmf is both helping veterans and their families and also building a coalition of partners.
