Puerto plata school for the deaf: 30,226 project aim is to expand physical facilities, enhance vocational training, and provide nutrition; doubling the instruction time and enhancing the educational experience. For the first time in 50 years, the school is providing lunch and all day classes. We constructed a new classroom and provided new computers, sewing machines, and a furnished kitchen. We also provide salaries to two deaf teaching assistants, a cook and a wood arts instructor. Currently there are 36 students benefiting.

Enhanced reading project: 24,619 provide 2,783 disadvantaged children in 5 public schools with a dynamic reading program intervention during the school year. Has reduced illiteracy significantly, increased reading proficiency and comprehension while fostering a reading culture.

New horizons: 21,134 serving children's wellbeing by mentoring 150 high risk adolescent girls in acting, volleyball, music, and other activities through mentorship. Additionally, 1,200 other children were impacted by different educational and social activities hosted by the group, increasing self-confidence and sense of empowerment.

Community building program: 11,147 built 1 new low-income home. Program creates community cohesion by bringing 68 volunteers to provide all the labor for the construction with the materials we provide. Men, women, and children from the community work together for the common good thus creating a culture of community cohesion and service. Also, provided 2 biosand water filters to rural community near the haitian border. Special needs project: 9,257 program provides resources primarily to two local institutions caring for disabled orphans, and a catholic home for the elderly indigent. A total of 96 beneficiaries. College education support: 9,168 provides 16 disadvantaged women with a monthly stipend to defer college expenses, transportation and supplies. These young women also provide mentoring to 150 high risk girls from the barrios of puerto plata.

WE ALSO PROVIDE SALARIES TO TWO DEAF TEACHING ASSISTANTS, A COOK AND A WOOD ARTS INSTRUCTOR. CURRENTLY THERE ARE 36 STUDENTS BENEFITING.

SPECIAL NEEDS PROJECT: 9,257 PROGRAM PROVIDES RESOURCES PRIMARILY TO TWO LOCAL INSTITUTIONS CARING FOR DISABLED ORPHANS, AND A CATHOLIC HOME FOR THE ELDERLY INDIGENT. A TOTAL OF 96 BENEFICIARIES. COLLEGE EDUCATION SUPPORT: 9,168 PROVIDES 16 DISADVANTAGED WOMEN WITH A MONTHLY STIPEND TO DEFER COLLEGE EXPENSES, TRANSPORTATION AND SUPPLIES. THESE YOUNG WOMEN ALSO PROVIDE MENTORING TO 150 HIGH RISK GIRLS FROM THE BARRIOS OF PUERTO PLATA.
