Executive committee: the officers serve as members of the executive committee. Except for the power to amend the articles of incorporation and bylaws, the executive committee shall have all of the powers and authority of the board of directors in the intervals between meetings of the board of directors, subject to the direction and control of the board of directors.

This review was last performed in 2018.

Virtual dementia tours these are evidence-based individual experiences through simulated dementia to help better understand the physical and mental challenges of those living with dementia. After experiencing this sensory training, you will have a greater understanding of the realities of what living with dementia is like. This unique, interactive program has been shown to improve communication and care. Learning to create a positive environment for those with dementia can only come from attempting to walk in their shoes.

Financial Statement Notes

PART IV, LINE 1B:

The organization entered into an agreement with the state of minnesota to provide space for the adult day stay program serving older adults 65+ and office space for eldercircle staff with the itasca county ymca. This was a joint solicitation with the ymca and the grant was used for construction and renovation at the ymca.

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and corresponding state code. As such, no provision for income taxes has been made in the accompanying statements. The organization is not a private foundation and contributions to the organization qualify as a charitable tax deduction by the contributor. The organization's income tax returns are subject to review and examination by federal and state authorities in accordance with prescribed statutes. The organization has not been examined for any open years.

AGING NETWORK IS A BI-MONTHLY MEETING THAT BRING PROFESSIONAL TOGETHER WHO SERVE PEOPLE 55+. AARP TAX AID IS A FREE TAX ASSISTANCE AND PREPARATION FOR LOW-TO-MIDDLE INCOME FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS OF ALL AGES. ALTHOUGH SPECIAL ATTENTION IS GIVEN TO THOSE AGES 60 AND OLDER, THE SERVICE IS OPEN TO MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY OF ANY AGE, AND AARP MEMBERSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED.
