“The Organization has a tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and has adopted Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes, ASC 740-10. The Organization's policy is to evaluate uncertain tax positions, at least annually, for the potential for income tax exposure from unrelated business income or from loss of nonprofit status. The Organization continues to operate consistent with its original exemption application and each year takes the necessary actions to maintain its exempt status. It has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation under the Internal Revenue Code and charitable contributions by donors are tax deductible.”

Theater Latte Da produced four mainstage productions that were inspired by the richness of the human spirit with emphasis on both music and storytelling. The performances resonated with people on many level as they were personal, intellectual, emotional, and visceral. The season opened with a riveting play with music exploring the life and legacy of an opera diva. It closed with the critically acclaimed and well-attended production of Stephen Sondhiem's award winning musical Into the Woods. The theater also received awards for overall excellence and best director, among others, during the season. Over 30,000 people attended Theater Latte Da productions.New Work Development. Three teams of creative artists were given the opportunity to develop their new work over a two week period culminating in three public readings for each piece. The public readings provided direct feedback to the artists which was incorporated into their next reading. Once piece was chosen for the NAMT new works festival and one piece will be premiered in Theater Latte Da's upcoming season. |
