“Partnership with mission evangelique du nord dhaiti headquartered in plaine du nord north haiti: funds were sent in support of their flagship k-12 christian school and by extension to 2 additional schools that serve at least 1500 students and represent at least 64 faculty and staff. Funding continued during the lockdown to ensure that faculty and staff could survive when the schools were closed. We also shipped some school supplies to them during the year. Funds were sent in support of the mission clinic for the purchase of pharmaceuticals and equipment. We also shipped some supplies to them. There are 12 clinic employees that serve approximately 70 people each day. During the lockdown when no one could work funds were sent for the purchase of food distributed to more than 100 people along with masks, temperature guns and other supplies. Funds enabled them to provide hand washing stations in the communities. Funds for supplies to meet covid-19 protocols enabled them to reopen the schools and the 21 churches that serve hundreds across northern haiti.”
“Partnership with the jehovah shammah childrens home and related ministries in india: monthly funding in support of ten village pastors and evangelists enables them to purchase materials used in their work and to cover transportation costs as they serve throughout the region. Several new churches were established during the year. Additional funding allowed them to provide clothing to more than 100 poor women during the month of december. Ewi is the primary supporter of the childrens home caring for 30 children. This includes maintenance of the home, food, education, medical care, and all other needs of the children. During the lockdown children were sent to the villages. We provided funds to enable the mission to distribute food to the villages to include not only the children but the families that were caring for them.”
“Partnership with faith and hope mission in oduwo, kenya led by julian orimbo: the mission includes los angels bright academy christian school that serves up to 300 students in k-8 grades, a home for 43 orphans or abandoned children, and a large church. Ewi provides funding for full time care of the 43 children and a lunch program for the 300 students. We provided funds for the purchase and distribution of bibles to about 50 people. Funding supported the purchase of food and clothing for 10 vulnerable elderly. We also funded the purchase of disinfectant, sanitizer, temperature guns, masks, and handwashing stations to allow them to reopen the church and the schools following covid-19 protocols. Funds were sent to allow them to distribute food in the community during the lockdown. We provided a scholarship to enable the children of a mission evangelist to attend the school.”
“Partnership with good news theological seminary (gnts) in northern accra, ghana: gnts provides training to over 200 students in a variety of programs preparing them for various christian ministries. They also provide vocational training at off-campus sites in rural areas. A 200 monthly salary supplement was provided to retain a qualified librarian, a requirement for accreditation. Funds were sent for the purchase of 4 computers and for library shelving and other supplies. Forty-three persons were confined to campus during the lockdown due to covid-19. Funds were sent to provide food and other essentials as none of them had any income during that time. We also provided funding to allow for the purchase of disinfectants, hand sanitizer, masks, temperature guns and other protective gear to enable them to meet covid-19 protocols and prepare the campus for reopening. In 2020 we provided a 1000 scholarship for one student and additional funds toward the schools scholarship fund. We also raised funds toward the purchase of a vehicle to be used by the president. Partnership with bethel mission at kolar gold fields in india: we provided funding in support of the missions 21-day prayer campaign to provide transportation and food for hundreds. We contributed toward a food distribution program serving hundreds during the lockdown. Funding was sent in december to help with the purchase of clothing and/or aid for 100 children in the missions three homes, for 600 widows and other poor women, for 100 lepers in a nearby colony, and for about 60 mission pastors and workers. Finally, 1000 was sent to help pay a hospital bill for a severely injured church worker. Ewi's library development program: ewis library development program serves bible schools and seminaries in the developing world for the purpose of providing essential tools for the training of pastors, evangelists, and other christian workers. In 2020 we shipped over 3000 books to 23 institutions in india, ghana, nigeria, liberia, myanmar, kenya, south africa, and uganda. Some schools have as few as 30 students and others have several hundred. We also provided for shelving, library computer software, and monthly grants in support of a librarian.”
