Additionally, outside organizations such as the United States Fiscal and Property Office, oversee and are vigilant in looking for possible situations where conflict of interest issues may arise. Additionally, the STARBASE Minnesota Executive Director maintains strict vigilance over purchases and potential conflicts of interest. In Dec 2022 the Board of Directors adopted new Bylaws that include a Conflict of Interest Policy and Board Members will be required to disclose potential conflicts on an annual basis.”
