Epfp - the minnesota education policy fellowship program is a joint venture of the center for policy design and the washington dc based institute of educational leadership (iel). The partnership has the primary focus of large system state and federal policy development and the leadership that is necessary to influence policy development.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 31

Institutions of public policy - when creative public policy approaches are sought, a focus on "design" is a more useful approach than research and analysis. Creative problem solving requires a thorough challenge of the existing assumptons and an open process for designing new solutions. Documentary - the center for policy design efforts in large system redesign are brought to life by south hill films. South hill films is the documentary production organization that focuses on the historical analysis of large system policy design and social change. Leadership for systems - this project develops and teaches leadership skills for effective change of complex systems. Such activity requires integration of activities across multiple functional areas such as research, analysis, design, and implementation; as well as working on multiple parts of a system over time. The ability to conceptualize and work with partners to take necessary actions requires holistic approaches to leadership.
