PRESENTED THREE CONCERT SERIES TO APPROXIMATELY 1200 PEOPLE. THIS WAS THE 42ND ANNIVERSARY SEASON PRESENTING QUALITY LIVE CLASSICAL MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT TO THE CENTRAL MINNESOTA AREA. THIS GROUP IS A 50-PIECE VOLUNTEER COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA FROM THE CENTRAL MINNESOTA AREA.-$47,466
GUEST ARTISTS AND LOCAL SOLOISTS AND ENSEMBLES ARE BROUGHT IN TO PERFORM AT THE CONCERTS TO MAKE EACH CONCERT UNIQUE AND ENTERTAINING. OFTEN TIMES THE SPECIAL GUEST ARTISTS ARE MADE AVAILABLE FOR PRESENTATION OF HANDS-ON MUSIC EDUCATION WORKSHOPS IN LOCAL SCHOOLS WHILE THEY ARE VISITING THE AREA. THESE MUSIC CLINICS ARE PRESENTED FREE TO THE SCHOOLS AND THE STUDENTS WHO ATTEND THEM. ALL CONCERTS ARE FREE FOR YOUTH THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL AGE. Presented three concert series to approximately 1200 people. This was the 42nd anniversary season presenting quality live classical music entertainment to the central minnesota area. This group is a 50-piece volunteer community orchestra from the central minnesota area.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 29

Guest artists and local soloists and ensembles are brought in to perform at the concerts to make each concert unique and entertaining. Often times the special guest artists are made available for presentation of hands-on music education workshops in local schools while they are visiting the area. These music clinics are presented free to the schools and the students who attend them. All concerts are free for youth through high school age. During this season, students from the st francis concert orchestra, soprano jennifer olson, university of minnesota-morris orchestra, pianist kate bae, just for kix dancers, and brainerd high school orchestra were all featured guests. The winners of the 2019 youth concerto competition winners performed at the spring concert. The orchestra hosts a youth competition every other year. The audition rewards young musicians with the opportunity to perform with the orchestra, a recording of their performance, and a 500 award. There were two recipients of the award in 2019.
