The organization was formed for the purpose of preserving and developing decent, safe and affordable housing. The organization fulfills its mission through acquisition, rehabilitation and new development in urban and rural areas located in southeastern wisconsin.

Millennium housing foundation, inc. Is organized under chapter 181 for the purpose of developing, preserving and providing affordable housing for disabled and low-income persons.

PROCESS USED BY ORGANIZATION TO REVIEW FORM 990: The corporate President and the Accounting and Compliance Administrator review the draft of the tax return and upon their approval the Board of Directors are forwarded a copy of the tax return via email or US Mail before the filing of the final tax return. If no comments are received from the Board of Directors within a specified amount of time (may change based on timing of filing requirements, but typically a week) the accounting firm completing the tax return will file the return by mail or electronic format.

Monitor & enforce compliance with the written conflict of interest policy: each year at the organization's annual meeting, or in any case prior to the filing of the form 990, a conflict of interest disclosure form is completed by each board member or officer. The board will take action either at a meeting of the board (this could be done by telephone) or by consent resolution to document compliance with the procedure.
