A bi-annual market survey is conducted through use of a labor consultant and used when reviewing executive compensation. THIS ALLOWS LENDERS ACCESS TO OTHER GOVERNMENT SPONSORED LENDING PROGRAMS WITHOUT THE INVESTMENT IN TRAINING. THIS PROGRAM ALLOWS SMALL BUSINESSES ACCESS TO WORKING CAPITAL AND RESTRUCTURING SOLUTIONS. WDB'S EXPERTISE WITH THE SBA 7(A) AND COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT FUND PROGRAMS, ALONG WITH OTHER NATIONAL, STATE, AND LOCAL PROGRAMS, PROVIDES VALUABLE FOR PROJECTS THAT NEED MORE THAN FIXED ASSET FINANCING. SINCE 1981, WBD HAS HELPED FUND OVER 2,000 BUSINESSES IN WISCONSIN AND PRODUCED PROJECTS IN 71 OF 72 WISCONSIN COUNTIES. THIS PAST YEAR, WBD ROSE TO BECOME THE 9TH LARGEST PRODUCER OUT OF THE 255 CDCS IN THE U.S. WBD PARTICIPATED IN PROJECTS WITH OVER 100 WISCONSIN LENDERS AND SERVED AS AN INTEGRAL HUB IN EVERY PROJECT. ADDITIONALLY, WBD BRIDGED THE CONSTANT NEED FOR ACCESS TO CAPITAL MARKETS WHILE KEEPING THE INTERESTS OF THE LENDER, THE SBA, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THE SMALL BUSINESS AT THE FOREFRONT.THE CORNERSTONE OF WBD'S SUCCESS IS THE DELIVERY OF THE SBA 504 PRODUCT. AT 9/30/15, THE PORTFOLIO INCLUDED 1,304 LOANS TOTALING $768,038,231. DURING THE REPORTING PERIOD, 95 LOANS TOTALING $66,535,429 WERE FUNDED; WHICH CREATED OR RETAINED 1,652 JOBS. WBD PROVIDES LOAN PACKAGING SERVICES FOR THE 7(A) PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SBA FUNDING FOR PROJECTS UP TO $5,000,000 WITH LOAN GUARANTESS OF UP TO $3,750,000 FOR BUSINESS START UPS, EXPANSIONS, ACQUISITIONS, AND OPERATIONAL EXPENSES. DURING THE REPORTING PERIOD, 13 TYPE 7(A) LOANS WERE PACKAGED BY WBD. THESE LOANS SUPPORTED THE CREATION OR RETENTION OF 222 JOBS AND $8.406 MILLION OF TOTAL PROJECT VALUES. THROUGH OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH VARIOUS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCIES, WBD PROVIDES LOAN SERVICING AND BACK OFFICE SUPPORT ENHANCING THE AGENCIES ABILITY TO DELIVER THE SERVICES THEY PROVIE. THESE AGENCIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: FORWARD COMMUNITY INVESTMENTS, WAUKESHA COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, FIRST AMERICAN CAPITAL CORPORATION, MILWAUKEE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, AND WISCONSIN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT GROWTH FUND, INC.
