Two new programs were undertaken during the year: gap - guardian advocacy program - kandu's guardian advocate program is a certified corporate guardianship program focused on assisting individuals with decision-making in the least restrictive way possible. Our primary focus is to assist and support individuals to ensure their health, safety and happiness. 5 individuals were served. Financial Statement Notes

PART V, LINE 4:

The endowment funds will be used to support kandu industries, inc.

PART X, LINE 2:

The corporation follows the provisions of the uncertainty in income taxes section of the income taxes topic of the fasb accounting standards codification. These provisions address the determination of whether tax benefits claimed or expected to be claimed on a tax return should be recorded in the financial statements. The corporation files a form 990 (return of organization exempt from income tax) annually. When this return is filed it is highly certain that some positions taken would be sustained upon examination by the taxing authorities, while others are subject to uncertainty about the merits of the position taken or the amount of the position that would ultimately be sustained. Examples of tax positions include such matters as the following: the tax exempt status of the entity and various positions relative to potential sources of unrelated business taxable income (ubit). Ubit is reported on form 990t, as appropriate. The benefit of a tax position is recognized in the financial statements in the period during which, based on all available evidence, management believes that it is more likely than not that the positions will be sustained upon examination, including the resolution of appeals or litigation processes, if any. There were no uncertain tax positions as of december 31, 2013 or 2012. Form 990 filed by the corporation is subject to examination by the internal revenue service up to three years from the extended due date of each return. Forms 990 filed by the corporation are no longer subject to examination by the internal revenue service for the years 2009 and prior.
