“Membership to the Credit Union requires members to maintain a $5.00 balance in their primary share account. This amount represents one voting share of ownership and one vote at the annual meeting.”

“The Board of Directors is elected by the membership at the annual meeting. Members in good standing, 18 years of age or older, each have one vote.”

“Daily operational duties are delegated to the President by the Board of Directors. The Board meets monthly to review operations, monitor performance, set policy, and ensure adherence and compliance with the rules and regulations. These decisions are not subject to membership approval, however, a major decision such as a merger would require a membership vote.”

“There is no formal review by the Board of Directors, however, the 990 filing is reviewed by the State regulators as part of their annual exam.”

“Compensation for the President is determined by the Board of Directors. For all other employees, a Compensation Committee comprised of Board Treasurer, President, and another Board Member, determine compensation and benefits, and reports to the full Board of Directors”

“The governing documents, policies, and financial statements are available upon request. Year end financial statements are presented at the annual meeting and posted in the lobbies of both branches.”
