American River College (ARC) secured a American Apprenticeship Initiative (AAI) grant requiring the development of a DOL approved apprenticeship programs for 5000 new apprentices. They subcontracted AMTAC to provide at least 50 new apprentices. The contract included developing an approved DOL apprenticeship program, with standards in both manufacturing and transportation, and to register at least 50 apprentices. We were able to obtain an approved program for 10 separate job classifications and enroll 80 new apprentices as a start. We will be adding more new apprentices as the program continues to develop.$0$33,572
City College of San Francisco was awarded a California Apprenticeship Initiative (CAI) grant designed to provide at least 3 cohorts of pre-apprentice program including both schooling and work experience for up to 25 apprentices per cohort. The program actually enrolled a total of 70 pre-apprentices with most placed in a par-time work experience and at least 10 found full-time apprentice or training positions in the industry. AMTAC, Inc. was subcontracted to provide a linkage agreement between the pre-apprenticeship program and our registered apprenticeship program. The contract also included helping with the program design, establish curriculum, recruit employers to provide work experience, and provide employment training for the pre-apprentices.$0$26,998
AMTAC contracted by City and County of SF to register 10 apprentice in various automotive and machining apprenticeship job classifications and coordinates all of their apprenticeship requirements. This includes but not limited to tracking work process hours, assigning and tracking all related and supplemental instruction, send out and track employer and instructor evaluations, track industrial certifications and monitor wage progression.$0$13,650
Contra Costa Community College District was awarded a CAI grant to develop a new apprenticeship program in the manufacturing and transportation industries. 4CD subcontracted AMTAC, Inc. to develop the new apprenticeship program and provide apprenticeship services to all the California Counties. AMTAC was able to develop Local Educational Agency agreements with over 15 community colleges throughout the State. Once the apprenticeship programs were developed and approved we were able to enroll over 100 apprentices with more to come.$0$12,406
Jewish Vocational Services (JVS) was awarded a California Workforce Development grant to develop a new pre-apprenticeship program in Alameda County similar to the program developed by CCSF. AMTAC was subcontracted to develop a linkage agreement between the pre-apprenticeship and our registered apprenticeship program. AMTAC assisted in the curriculum development, recruiting employers to provide work experience, and assist with the management of the program. 10 pre-apprentices were enrolled into the program. AMTAC Inc. also subcontracted AMTAC to help them develop a DOL registered apprenticeship program for the water and waste water agencies throughout the SF Bay Area. This program is still in the development stages but AMTAC has been involved with the planning and development from the beginning lending our apprenticeship expertise.$0$3,051
