Compliance with the conflict of interest policy is managed by an annual review of the policy with the board and a written statement signed by each board member.

The CEO is a full time volunteer and serves the organization without financial or other compensation. The CEO has committed to serve the organization without compensation until such time as the organization raises enough funding to hire a paid CEO. At that time a compensation review process will be conducted by a board committee working with the Michigan Nonprofit Association's guidebook. The bookkeeper is the only paid staff. His compensation is set by the CEO within the guidelines of the board's annual approval of the organizational budget.
