Mission

Ahepa 371, inc. Is a not-for-profit corporation formed in accordance with the not-for-profit statutes of the state of michigan. The corporation was organized to own and operate a 79-unit apartment community in harrison township, michigan, known as ahepa 371 apartments, pursuant to section 202 of the national affordable housing act, as amended. The sponsor of the corporation is ahepa national housing corporation.

Ahepa 371, inc. Is a not-for-profit corporation formed in accordance with the not-for-profit statutes of the state of michigan. The corporation was organized to provide relief to the poor, the distressed or the underprivileged; to advance religion (and for this organization, more specifically the orthodox religion); to advance education or science; to erect or maintain public buildings, monuments or works; to lessen the burdens of government; to lessen neighborhood tensions; to eliminate prejudice and disccriminnation; to defend human and civil rights secured by law; to combat community deterioration and juvenile delinquency; to provide scholarships to individuals and to operate, manage or develop housing for low income senior or handicapped persons. The corporation is sponsored by ahepa omega chapter 371, inc.

The corporation was managed by ahepa affordable management company, inc., an affiliate of ahepa national housing corporation. Ahepa affordable management company, inc. Has a project owner's and management agent's certification for multifamily housing projects with the u.s. Department of housing and urban development. Under this certification, hud has approved ahepa affordable management company, inc. To manage the underlying project of the corporation. The management contract encompasses the day to day operations of the rental project including, but not limited to, collection of rents, maintenance of facilities, supervision of staff, and ongoing support for both the owners and tenants as needed in order to establish a safe, sanitary and affordable environment. The management contract with ahepa affordabe management company, inc. Was transferred with the rental property to omega senior housing ldha lp on august 23, 2016.
