The george young recreational complex is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, including, for the purpose of lessening the burden on government, to provide public recreational facilities through the operation of a recreational complex for the benefit of the public. During the tax year the complex continued its recreational activities and expanded its indoor swimming program. It continued to sponsor cross country ski programs in the winter and hiking and golf related activities in the summer. It offers golf and driving range facilities open to the public at low or reduced costs.
