Upon reaching consensus over the evaluation, the ceo compensation is benchmarked against other ceo positions for similar sized agencies via available resources such as industry salary surveys and guidestar. Any performance merit increase and/or bonus is discussed at the executive committee. Once a decision has been reached, the review is discussed with the ceo along with the salary recommendations. “Volunteers partcipate in a wide range of activities and events. They may join haven individually or in teams by providing support behind the scenes or directly with individuals. Examples include: crisis line volunteer, male or children mentor, office volunteer, prevention education volunteer, residential volunteer, social action volunteer, speakers bureau volunteer, support service volunteer, and teen advisory council among others.”

“Start: start (safe therapeutic assault response team) provides around the clock medical attention, a forensic exam and emotional support to victims of sexual assault in a safe and supportive environment. For cases referred for prosecution, sexual assault nurse examiners provide expert testimony and advocates give victims support during court proceedings. Total clients served in the 2017 fiscal year - 19 under the age of 13, and 237 over the age of 13. Prevention education: trained educators work with young people, and their teachers and parents, to equip them with the tools to make better choices, to build relationships based on mutual respect, and to understand what consent means. Educators also provide professional training to health care providers, law enforcement, clergy, and members of the general public on the dynamics of domestic violence, sexual assault and the root causes of these issues.
