If a conflict is identified, the board member has abstained from voting on a particular issue and did not participate in the discussion.

Compensation of the organization's ceo is determined by the scheurer hospital compensation committee. This includes multiple meetings of the committee which utilizes survey data to determine reasonableness of the compensation package of the ceo.
