Organization maintains a written conflict of interest policy. The policy sets forth a personal committment of board members to adhere to the goals of the good samaritan inn of public confidence and accountability. The members commit to not acting in a manner to advance their personal interests or that of others in a manner that is detrimental to the organization. The board member will disclose any potential conflict of interest that may favorably financially impact them or someone that they have a financial relationship with. The board member will abstain from voting on such matters. When all conflicts of interest or potential conflicts of interest arise, it will be diclosed to the director or chairman of the board of directors and a resolution sought.
