“The corporation is a not-for-profit organization and claims exemption from federal and state income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and similar provisions of state laws. In addition, the corporation has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation. The corporation is no longer subject to u.s. Federal or state examinations by tax authorities for tax years prior to 2020. Mmlp is a limited partnership. No provision or benefit for income taxes has been included in these consolidated financial statements since taxable income (loss) passes through to, and is reportable by, the partners individually.”
