The salary for the Fund Director is determined by the Board of Trustees. All other compensation of the non-bargaining unit staff is determined by the fund director. All other compensation of the bargaining unit staff is determined by the collective bargaining agreement.

PART X, LINE 2 - FIN 48 FOOTNOTE - UNCERTAIN TAX LIABILITY:

Accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America require management to evaluate tax positions taken by the organization and recognize a tax liability if the organization has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by the Internal Revenue Service. Management has evaluated the tax positions taken by the Plan and concluded that as of September 30, 2016 there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability or disclosure in the financial statements. The Plan is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits in progress for any tax periods.

Management has evaluated the tax positions taken by the Plan and concluded that as of September 30, 2016 there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability or disclosure in the financial statements. The Plan is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits in progress for any tax periods.
