“Homeless assistance: moab solutions offers a variety of services to people in need in our community, including the homeless. We primarily provide referrals to local social service agencies, through our street-level outreach. When direct financial resources are required, we activate our emergency needs fund, a separate account that deals with emergency needs and takes requests from law enforcement, non-profits, agencies, churches and individuals. Some examples of services provided include: (1) camp cleanups to improve living conditions, and foster relationships that lead to social services, (2) training in recycling sorting: pride and job skills are promoted by teaching the homeless to sort and maintain recycling, and (3) social services & direct assistance: connecting the indigent with shelter, medical care, rehab, and job training.”
