Front Range German Shepherd Rescue Inc.

all volunteer organization that provides for the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of unwanted, neglected and/or abused German Shepherd dogs, which may include German Shepherd mixes (dogs of which one part is believed to be German Shepherd). These dogs are placed with us by their owners, animal shelters or humane societies. We evaluate the health, temperament, and suitability of dogs offered for placement in an adoptive home . These dogs are accepted by us on a case by case basis. We provide those accepted food, shelter and care until adoptive homes can be found. Based on our assessment, we may want to rehab the dog, if possible thru obedience, behavioral training and veterinary care. We then seek out prospective homes for these German Shepherds by evaluating prospective adopters' suitability for owning a German Shepherd. We transfer ownership to approved adopters and provide continuing education in the form of care, training, and breed information.
