A community supported agricultural initiative. The certified naturally grown farm uses the land in a just and environmentally conscious way by sharing locally grown food with shareholders and persons who are financially poor and hungry in our community. A portion of each weeks harvest goes directly to nearly a dozen different charities serving the poor and hungry.

“Effective September 5, 2017, the Board of Directors voted to amend the Bylaws of the Organization. Among the changes instituted by the new Bylaws were: 1. Removed the requirement that a majority of the members of the Board of Directors be members in good standing of the Daughters of Charity, Province of St. Louise (the Province). Rather at least one of the members of the Board of Directors need be a member in good standing of the Province. 2. The range of the number of Board members was changed from a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 11 to a minimum of 6 members and a maximum of 20 members. 3. The term of service by a member of the Board of Directors was increased from 1 year to 3 years. At the same time, the number of terms an individual director can serve was limited to 3 terms (the maximum amount of time a person can service as a director is 9 years). 4. Added the Finance Committee as a standing committee and defined the duties of the Finance Committee.”

Among the changes instituted by the new Bylaws were: 1. Removed the requirement that a majority of the members of the Board of Directors be members in good standing of the Daughters of Charity, Province of St. Louise (the Province). Rather at least one of the members of the Board of Directors need be a member in good standing of the Province. 2. The range of the number of Board members was changed from a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 11 to a minimum of 6 members and a maximum of 20 members. 3. The term of service by a member of the Board of Directors was increased from 1 year to 3 years. At the same time, the number of terms an individual director can serve was limited to 3 terms (the maximum amount of time a person can service as a director is 9 years). 4.
