“A. Supported Ecoversities Alliance - The Ecoversities Alliance is a network of alternative holistic universities and learning spaces around the world for youth and adult learners (many of who have left formal education). The Ecoversities are committed to reimagining education higher education and developing innovative models, pedagogies and tools which explore the expanded self, community living, ecological sustainability, social justice, the arts and creativity, reconnection to nature, alternative approaches to healing, social entrepreneurship. There are currently 500+ members across 40 countries. We supported a global gathering in Sao Paulo and Cunha, Brazil which was attended by over 100 ecoversities members from around the world. This was followed by a learning journey to visit inspiring ecoversities projects around Brazil. We supported an Asian regional gathering in Nepal, a Latin America regional gathering in Colombia, a North American regional gathering in the United States, an African gathering in Nigeria. We supported 23 new startup ecoversity projects such as the Atmatrupi Off-grid Living Academy, Center for Eco-Culinary Studies, Great Lakes Institute, Healing Forest Walk, Alternative University, UniFluxo Ecoversidade, United Playfulness, La Conchita Regeneration Lab, Rights of Nature Campus, Millet-versity. We supported an online international Conference on Reimagining Education with over 1200 registered educators from around the world and 100 learning sessions. We were able to develop many partnerships for holistic learning with formal academic institutions, foundations and social agencies. We supported 20 educational leaders to go for residencies between different Ecoversities members and conferences. The residencies were designed to encourage knowledge sharing and deepening of collaborations and new innovations. We supported the production of 27 new essays, zines and pamphlets on important innovations in education. These were shared through the Ecoversities Online Magazine, Ecoversities Newsletters and Fireflies Frequency Online Radio Channel. We co-hosted a special webinar series on Farmversities Rising and Waterversities Rising. We supported production of new short film for Farmversities Alliance. We supported 20 podcast episodes in India on the Art of Facilitation. We supported website update of www.ecoversities.org and regular social media communications. B. Supported Holistic Education Flow Project - The Holistic Education Flow Project supports learning projects around the world which are building innovative models of education for children. We supported 15 self-designed learning centres in India, South Africa, Brazil, UK, France, Mexico and Vietnam. These centres are promoting creativity, environmental regeneration, mental and spiritual health and indigenous wisdom for children and youth using innovative experiential pedagogies such as apprenticeship learning, project-based learning and peer-to-peer learning. C. Supported the Shikshantar Sansthan for the Udaipur as a Learning City Project - The ULC incubates and nurtures several diverse learning spaces and sustainable living projects around the city as it creates opportunities for people of all ages to identify, deepen and share their passions, dreams and skills. It also highlights and regenerates traditional knowledge systems, local media and learning resources and a feeling of community. It wishes to explore the deeper questions of happiness, progress, urban development, education and a good life with local citizens of the city. The Shikshantar Learning Resource Center for Self-Designed Learners, Homeschoolers and Walkouts, hosted and mentored over 2000 visitors from around the country who were interested in how they could pursue a path of self-designed learning and access community learning resources in Udaipur.
