She received her doctorate in marriage and family therapy from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology. She is an internationally known expert in emotionally focused therapy. Dr. Hart taught on 'the building blocks' of an emotionally connected marriage; focused on 'our argument cycle' [as couples in marriage dynamics]; fostering a safe haven marriage; as well as 'healing the hurts of our heart'. She ended the conference maintaining the importance of connecting and enjoying each other, as couples. As a marriage counselor, researcher and wife, Dr. Hart, stated: 'I have come to learn that at the heart of every argument is the longing to be heard, understood, and loved.'It was an unusual choice for Dr. Hart to teach in the intimate setting of this conference, as her audiences focuses on larger groups, such as AACC, wherein several 1,000's attend. Though she will not be returning for a follow-up conference, she noted she and her family benefited from the relaxed and more intimate nature of this conference being a smaller group and located in a very relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. | $10,905 | - |
