My Brothers' Keeper specializes in training and assisting individuals with various disabilities to live a more independent life by providing support, structure, stability and reliability. Our mission is to help these individuals sustain and maintain a better quality of life through positive support in achieving their daily goals and outcomes, employment support, independent living, and integration into the community.

Subsequent to the 2015 fiscal year-end, the organization adopted an executive compensation policy. This policy provides procedures for the review and approval of the compensation of officers, directors, executive director or top management official, and key employees of the organization. The policy requires review and approval by the board of directors, use of comparability data, and contemporaneous recording of the deliberation and decision. In addition, the organization has approved salary ranges for all positions based on comparability data in the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits' 2014 Salary and Benefits Survey.

PCAs have a variety of responsibilities to the client and the family, some of which include assisting in daily personal care and hygiene. All houses are staffed twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Each home has a van available for the transportation of residents to medical and dental appointments and group activities. The ultimate goal for our group home clients is to enable them to live more independently.
